Gonna give it a test run...

The photos below were taken today. I think Matthew is very handsome in his Sweater Vest. He love playing on the steps and the last couple of times we have went outside, he has headed straight for the road. So, I had to get a couple of him playing Dodge Car~Just Kidding!

I have been messing around with this blog for a couple of months. I am not one for change and I am still not sure of what I am doing, but I have not been happy with care pages. I believe Care Pages is a great way for families to come together and support one another and keep everyone updated. I am not happy that the only way I can inform people of a new post is by marking it URGENT and I do not like being able to download photos and videos in my posts. Therefore, I hope you sign on as a follower in order to continue to read about Matthew's Journey. I plan to journal more and post more photos and videos. I have really been slacking lately.

We are going to Atlanta this Saturday for the annual Kids at Heart Christmas Party. We plan to do some shopping and then go see our home town high school play in the state championship game at the Ga Dome Saturday night. It will be a great time. I am really looking forward to it!
Ashley is finishing up the semester with finals this week and should be home Thursday or Friday. Allie still has a couple of more weeks before her Christmas break begins. I know they are ready for some time off from school!

I do not blame you for wanting to start a blog. I know those of you that are writing on Care Pages are having a lot of problems but those of us that are trying to follow Care pages of those we have grown to love and care about are having a lot of issues too.

The only thing I do not like about your blog is that with this background and the black writing it is really hard to read. You might want to change the color of the font or change backgrounds.
In a while you will feel like a pro with blogging and will enjoy all it so much more. LOL!!
You can also ad a gadget to where it will notify followers that you have written a post here. I will have to find it for you.

Thanks,
SheilaB

Here is the link to setup for others to get email notifications. They have to actually sign up for it but it is really easy.

I do not know if you know Stef the Mom of a CHD little boy but she has an awesome blog for him that she started a few months ago. I am sure she would be happy to help you if you need some. Let me know and I can email you her blog name. I hate to just advertise it without her permission.

You will get the hang of the 'blog' in no time! CarePages is still a great way to network within the heart family community....but it is AWEFUL for posting photos/videos and has recently become aweful at actually keeping up with the ones you have networked with!

We'll see you guys at the Christmas Party!

Yay! I like this one much better! We didn't get pics of Matthew with the trains so you have to come back. :-)

I hope you don't mind me signing on to follow. I am Sam Wimberly's grandmother...we met you at the Strong Legs run. I have been keeping up with your carepages update and would love to continue so we can keep Joshua Matthew in our prayers.
